Short Summary
Project 3×24 is a high-speed Himalayan record attempt led by Dawa Finjhok Sherpa to summit Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu within 24 hours. The record window begins after the Everest summit and continues through Lhotse and Makalu, supported by a simple execution plan designed for transparency and live following. Official updates and tracking will be shared through the Live Hub during the attempt, followed by a published recap timeline and supporting proof.
Full Project Summary
Project 3×24 is designed as a clear, public-facing record challenge: three iconic 8,000-meter peaks, one continuous time window, and a story that can be followed live. The attempt begins when Everest is summited—this is the start point of the official 24-hour countdown. From there, the timeline continues through a Lhotse summit push and then a transfer to the Makalu region to complete the final ascent.
The project is built around four pillars: a solo attempt model for decision clarity, supplemental oxygen to support performance during a continuous effort, helicopter transfer to connect two mountain systems within the record window, and Garmin inReach tracking to support safety and time-stamped visibility throughout the climb. The results will be published with a clear recap and supporting documentation after completion.
