THE PLAN

Split Timeline (Everest → Lhotse → Makalu)

Milestone 1: Summit Everest (Timer Starts)

The countdown begins after summiting Everest.

This is the official start of the 24-hour record window.

Milestone 2: Push Down to Camp III

After Everest is summited, the immediate push down to Camp III begins.

Camp III is the transition point where the Lhotse push begins.

Milestone 3: Summit Lhotse (Key Split)

From Camp III, the Lhotse climb begins. The plan states an aim to complete the Everest-to-Lhotse summit in 4.5 hours.

This split is one of the core speed targets of the project.

Milestone 4: Descent Toward Base Camp

After summiting Lhotse, descent to base camp begins while a helicopter stays on standby.

It protects the 24-hour window by reducing idle time.

Milestone 5: Helicopter Transfer to Makalu Base Camp

The standby helicopter is planned to fly immediately to Makalu Base Camp for gear change and rehydration.

It connects two mountain systems inside one record attempt.

Milestone 6: Makalu Summit (Finish)

Once dropped at Makalu Base Camp, the climb begins immediately and ends on the summit.

This completes the three-summit objective within 24 hours.

Tracking Systems Test

Garmin inReach devices have been tested at altitude. The map integration on the Live Hub is now calibrated for the attempt.

Verification & Transparency

The proposal includes live tracking as part of the project specifications via Garmin inReach®.

This Live Hub will always show the latest confirmed information (status + last ping time). If the map pauses, we will display the last confirmed update and continue posting verified updates as they come in.

Signal delays can happen

High altitude can cause temporary tracking gaps. If tracking pauses, we will show the last confirmed update and post the next update as soon as it is verified.
